Welcome!
I'm a structural geologist and professor at
University of Torino, Italy. My research
interest, spanning the fields of Tectonics
and Structural Geology, includes regional
tectonics, field mapping, structural and
stratigraphic studies in orogenic belts,
exhumed accretionary wedges and
subduction complexes. If you're interested,
you can check out informations on my
research in some of the pages of this web
site.
During last years my research interest
mainly focused on mélanges and mélange
forming processes in different tectonic
settings. Geological mapping represents
the base and the most important approach
for all my research activity. Check out the
sessions “Geological Maps” and
"Publications" for a list of the most recent
and significant publications.
Since 2005, I am also professor at the
Department of Earth Sciences - University
of Torino with responsibilities for the
classes of Geological Mapping and
Structural Geology.

Have a look to the pages of this web site to
have more informations on my research
activity, publications, and othe stuffs. Enjoy
and do not hesitate to contact me for any
